This is a really hard question...when it comes right down to it maybe having choices! Being free to make choices. Ma didn't have any choices, she was in a box and had to take whatever was given to her. But family and fresh air are right at the top too!
Ya - the first thing I thought of was fresh air! So I will go with that! This question makes me think of Ma's first shower in seven years and how she reacted to it... I can't even imagine!
There are so many things I'd miss I can't even count! We take so many of our freedoms for granted. After 7 years, Ma had to be learning alot about the world again as well. Shower is a good answer, though. And dogs. And the patio. And a good bed. And the sun. And the moon. And the stars. And walking around the block. I could go on and on!
What I would miss the most would be my family and interaction with other people that cared about me. Of course I would also miss fresh air, the mountains, a shower, shopping, eating out, movies, pets, etc.
Great point Sue! How horrible that I didn't even think of family and interaction with other people! That would BY FAR be the thing I missed the most I think!
