Another one of these books where the author switches back and forth...this seems to be very popular lately. What do you feel the purpose of going back and forth between the young and old Jacob might be?
I kind of asked that earlier...do the chapters with the old Jacob really add anything to the story? I don't think so. It just gives the author a "reason" to tell the story, as if people need a reason. Just tell the story already! Maybe it helps build anticipation...lol
